Why Liminis
Why Liminis was founded.
After many years in the security sector, I saw the same challenge in many organisations. There is extensive knowledge, a wide range of requirements and countless policy documents. Yet that knowledge does not always reach the people who need it.
Liminis Education Center began with the idea of making specialist security knowledge more accessible through training. Training needs to be relevant to the organisation and give participants knowledge they can use afterwards.
That is why Liminis combines security experience with education and effective teaching.

Experience from the security sector.
Tommy Hansen has more than 20 years of experience in the security sector, working with security in energy, construction, property, technology and essential services.
His experience spans operational security and technical solutions through to advice, security management, requirements, risk management and training. His work covers physical and technical security, personnel security and protective security.
Through Liminis, this experience informs the development of security training and support for organisations. The combination of practical experience and education is central to how Liminis works.
Our goal

Liminis aims to make specialist security knowledge accessible to more organisations and people. Training should do more than convey information: it should help participants understand what matters, why it matters and how to apply that knowledge in their own role.
